Webhook
A message one system sends to another automatically the moment something happens, like a new form submission, so nothing has to be checked manually.
A webhook is an automatic notification. Instead of a system having to constantly check whether something new happened, a webhook pushes that information out the instant it does, like the second a customer submits a contact form. Webhooks are one of the plumbing pieces behind workflow orchestration, connecting a trigger in one tool to an action in another.
